When you seek care at Dr. Steinberg's office, you can be assured that he and his staff avail themselves to the latest in dental technology. We utilize the Global Surgical Operating Microscope, BioTens computerized Mandibular Scanning Unit and Digital Dental X-Rays.
Surgical Operating Microscope
The Surgical Operating Microscopic helps dentists to precisely examine teeth and perform operations at a microscopic level. When using the high magnification during procedures, we are able to see microscopic details that are impossible to visualize with the naked eye. By using surgical operating microscopes, dental restorations have an incredibly precise fit and finish.

Neuromuscular Dental Technology
Dr. Steinberg uses BioTens® technology to measure and record neuromuscular occlusion. The BioTens Mandibular Scanning Unit is also instrumental in determining the severity of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. Neuromuscular activity is measured by recording the amount of electrical activity in the muscles of the jaw. BioTens measures and records the jaw position in three dimensions.
BioTens neuromuscular diagnostic technology is a valuable aid used to achieve neuromuscular occlusion. BioTens is used to find the position of the jaw where the teeth, muscles and joints operate in harmony.

Digital Dental X-Ray Technology
Digital dental X-ray systems are more sensitive than traditional dental X-ray systems, so your exposure to X-rays is cut by as much as 90 percent. With digital x-rays, there are no fees for photo chemicals, no film processing fees or film storage. Your dental checkups take less time, and it's fun to watch this system work!
