Kathy Baum, Office Manager

Kathy Baum has been in the dental field for over 30 years. She performs a wide variety of tasks to make sure the day-to-day operations at our dental practice run smoothly. A Tucson native, Kathy completed her schooling at Pima Medical. She has three grown daughters and enjoys golfing, cooking, and traveling with friends and family. Her favorite part of her job is “watching people have their life changed by being able to smile again, eat food properly, and benefit from an increase in their self-esteem.”

Christy Vega, Dental Hygienist

Christy Vega was born and raised in Washington, D.C., but has lived in Tucson for almost seven years. Her husband is a Tucson native; they live with their Frenchie, “Chloe.” Christy enjoys spending time in the sun and the mountains. She completed a science degree in dental hygiene and is motivated by seeing her patients get the smiles they deserve. As a dental hygienist of 14 years, she knows a healthy smile is essential for your overall well-being.

Leticia Montes, Dental Hygienist

Tucson native Leticia Montes has been a dental
hygienist for over 20 years, and she shares her expertise with dental hygiene students as an adjunct faculty member at Pima College. Leticia enjoys the outdoors, including hiking, beach and jungle vacations, and gardening. She loves the beauty of the desert and the sunsets. Her family includes her mother, her son, three dogs (Bella, Romeo, and Chico), and three African spurred tortoises (Aristotle, Socrates, and Mary-Simone). Leticia takes pride in helping her patients achieve optimal oral health.

Sylvia Bernal, Lead Dental Assistant

Sylvia Bernal has been a dental assistant for over 10 years. She attended Apollo College, is married, and lives in Tucson.

Connie Natera, Dental Assistant

Connie has been a dental assistant for eight years. Born and raised in Arizona, she attended Schmitke School of Dental Assisting. She particularly enjoys seeing patients’ reactions after their first treatment. Connie likes spending time with her two young nephews.
