Oral Health Screening
An oral health screening allows Dr. Steinberg and his team to assess the health of your mouth and to identify any signs of disease such as tooth decay, periodontal disease or cancer. Oral health encompasses the overall holistic health of the entire mouth, including your teeth, tongue, gums and supporting tissues. The purpose of a screening is to identify normal versus abnormal oral conditions. The screening may include reviewing your oral health history, performing a physical examination of your mouth and using diagnostic tools to identify oral diseases.
